Our Science Program for Pre-K through grade 12 prepares the next generation of learners to have an excellent understanding of science in the world around them.
All Saints students engage in discovery and problem-based learning to build an exceptional foundation for developing creative solutions to scientific challenges. Curriculum and strategies support a successful transition from the lower elementary grades through Middle School and High School toward collegiate science courses and the opportunity for a beyond-today career in the sciences.
Our program focuses on increasing our students' science proficiency and applying their math skills utilizing a STEM approach. Students acquire necessary process skills to do science such as: observing, questioning, experimenting, comparing, and analyzing. These process skills are essential for building a strong foundation for academic success where application and integration of technology are the emphasis. Employing a range of pedagogical techniques designed to support the multiple intelligences, students synthesize and evaluate current scientific research and discovery as part of their learning.
