Promising young students arrive at All Saints with creative questions and announcements about the world. To nurture and exercise this natural inquisitiveness, imagination, and energy, we emphasize adventurous skill building in the most important academic subject areas (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies). Through interactive games and closely supported free time we also nurture and exercise their growing social skills during this crucial time in their development.
Lower School students embark on significant study of Spanish, Mandarin, Art, Music, Technology and Media, engaging with current global emphases on whole-brain thinking, cultural competence and digital literacy. All Saints students gain contextual world-language priming. Recess on the Early Childhood musical playground, science in the Outdoor Classroom, field trips and a fascinating array of clubs to further personalize each All Saints student’s wide-eyed, active school day.
Beginning at the preschool level, we educate students of all backgrounds in our welcoming Episcopal-school tradition, teaching foundational values and instilling a sense of self-worth, responsibility, and altruism. Students participate weekly in Lower School chapel services led by our beloved campus chaplain and beginning in first grade, students attend weekly religion classes. We invite students and families of diverse faiths to share multicultural meals and celebrations throughout the year.
We find even our youngest students’ minds form their most creative connections and develop “big picture” knowledge through this systematic yet varied curriculum—designed to logically and smoothly gather momentum— carrying them through their senior year.
